Submission Guidelines
Welcome to the submissions page! I’m excited to invite you to contribute to this collaborative anthology of voices exploring race, identity, and the power of storytelling. Whether you’re submitting poetry, essays, or short stories, this project is an opportunity to share your unique perspective and help foster understanding and inclusivity.
Theme
The theme of this anthology is "Narratives of Identity: Stories That Shape Us."
Your submission should reflect on personal or collective experiences with race, identity, and social justice. Topics might include:
Formative texts that influenced your worldview.
Moments of discovery or challenges in navigating identity.
Reflections on representation in literature, media, or history.
Creative interpretations of identity, resilience, and belonging.
Submission Requirements
Format:
Poetry: Up to 3 poems (no more than 50 lines each).
Short Stories: 1,000–3,500 words.
Essays: 800–2,500 words.
File Type: Submissions should be in Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF format.
Include the Following:
Title of your piece(s).
A brief author bio (50–75 words).
Contact information (email address).
Deadline: All submissions are due by April 12, 2025.
